New word

Nuggy baby! the Bean-girl says as she reaches for her sister’s cheek. Nuggy nuggy nuggy. The baby is so nuggy!

What does “nuggy” mean? I ask.

She replies: Nuggy means when you want to touch a baby’s cheeks because they are so fat.

Indeed. She comes up with some good words, my Bean-girl.

I love that little Bean-girl! My Bean is very nuggy.

That's an awesome word. It beats the incessant "ning ning ning" phase that my nephews (age 6 and 8) seem to be going through. Plus the whole pretending to be a cat thing that I remember doing when I was a kid too!

Aw, I love these little anecdotes about the relationship between the two girls. It's so sweet how much Bean-girl dotes on her baby sister.

I enjoyed reading your posts on your kids and the choices you made. One way of getting back on track could be attending conferences and staying in touch with colleagues.

"Nuggy" is a PERFECT word for that! She is spot-on in her description. I might start to use it on my children! :)

So many times I've wanted to invent a word for something otherwise indescribable.
