Holiday photo FAIL

All I wanted was a nice photo of the girls in their holiday dresses, standing together before the Christmas tree. Something that we could perhaps use as a holiday photo card to send out to friends.

Turns out we could get a shot of one girl at a time in front of the tree, looking at the camera. But two girls in the same frame, with at least semi-normal expressions? A bit beyond my husband and me.

I don't think we'll be sending any of these out this year.

Hilarious! Maybe you should send one of these, as it would be much more interesting than the typical holiday card photo!

It's fun to see Legume looking silly since she tends to look pretty serious in some of the pics you post. Both girls are just adorable.

Did you try to get them to take a picture of you and your husband in front of the tree? You could have acted equally wacky...might have been funny.

LOL! I think these are adorable! I'd much rather see something fun like that than the typical ultra-posed Christmas picture.

So cute!

I agree that you should use the bottom one as your Christmas photo!

OMG Bean-mom your girls are so quite and that last picture is the BEST christmas card pic EVER. What more can you ask for in a pic then 2 little girls having fun by the christmas tree? isn't that what christmas is about?

naww.... but they are so cute!

I think you could send one of them, especially with a "snow frame' or however people do cards. They look cute and natural and excited for holidays :)

Thanks, everyone! =) I love the last picture best, too. My husband bought boring cards at our Walmart-equivalent, and we've already sent them out... But I think I'll e-mail these to some friends, and print them out just for us!

hahaha--adorable! This is a problem that my cousin (with two boys around your girls' ages) complains about all the time!
